DESCRIPTION

BORD is a two-player game of area control and dice battles between viking armies. It has wooden boards, dice, and game pieces. It is handmade in the UK, in a small workshop in London (handmade by the designer himself).

COMPONENTS

All of the components are made of wood, except for the rules (paper) and the bag (cloth). The dice are made of pine from sustainable sources (FSC certified), using a “rotary tumbler” (as shown in this video). All of the other wooden components are made of poplar plywood from sustainable sources (FSC certified). All of the wooden components are finished with Danish oil, in keeping with the Scandinavian look and feel.

When the bag is fully packed with all of the other components, it weighs about 0.5 kg and measures about 200 x 180 x 70 mm. Not all components are shown in the photos, but they are shown in this unbagging video.

NOTES

BORD is for 2 players (age 14+) only. It takes less than 60 minutes to play.

BORD is a handmade wooden board game, and there is some natural variation from copy to copy (for example, differences in wood grain).

There is a limit of 1 copy per customer. BORD is handmade, and it takes time to make! Thank you for your support.

We are based in the UK, and we use Royal Mail for shipping. At the moment, we are only shipping to customers in the UK and the USA. We are working on options for customers in the EU and elsewhere in the world, but there are problems with duties, fees, and taxes that we have not yet solved. Please contact us if you are in the EU or elsewhere and you would like to buy a copy of BORD. We will try to help. Please also follow our upcoming Kickstarter campaign, which will hopefully offer worldwide shipping through a fulfilment partner.

By ordering BORD, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. BORD is not a toy, and it is only for players aged 14+. You can return your order within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, minus shipping costs (including any duties, fees, and taxes) and transaction fees that are not refunded by our payment service providers. Your order must be unused, and you must pay the cost of returning it to us (including any duties, fees, and taxes). This does not affect your statutory rights.
